Kayaking
Oven’s River Bright
An amazing white water half day kayaking experience, along the majestic Ovens River in beautiful Bright. We begin the adventure by guiding you through some basic paddle skills on the flat water at Centenary Park. From there we portage the kayaks around the swimming hole and enter the faster water Travelling along the spectacular Ovens River through increasingly challenging rapids you will learn a range of white water skills.

$120 pp (For private group activities $660.00 for six plus $110 each additional person) for a half day program
Our Kayaks
We will be using a range of self-draining sit on top style kayaks including those manufactured locally at Carboor by Aquiline industries
Meeting Location
We will meet at the Car park near the Rotary Water Slide on Mountbatten Avenue (Centenary Park)
You Need
Closed toe runners or water shoes, bathers, shorts and a T-shirt or top depending on the weather. Sunscreen important. (Plus a sense of adventure)
We Provide
Two leaders, all safety equipment, (helmet, pfd etc)

Ovens River white water kayaking experience
Mt Buffalo
Kayaking on Lake Catani on the plateau of Mt Buffalo is a fun activity. There is an opportunity to try stand-up paddleboards for those after more of a challenge. The Lake is and its beautiful scenic location gives a sense of peace and tranquility while providing a fun and adventurous outdoor activity for the whole family. Kayaks can be hired from dingo dell cafe. Lake Catani is only 30 Minutes above Bright
KAYAK AND CANOE HIRE
Adventure Guides Australia have six two person kayaks, a Canadian style canoe plus a single person kayak. These are located at the Lake Catani swimming beach in the Mount Buffalo National Park (Next to the camping ground)
Bookings, payment and the pick up of keys (to unlock the kayaks), life jackets and paddles is from the Dingo Dell Cafe - The cafe is normally open 10 am to 5 pm Wednesdays to Sundays also all public Holidays and Victorian School Holidays.
(Cash can be simpler as the EFPOS signal is often erratic at Dingo Dell)
